SolidariTir

SolidariTIR è una realtà importante che permette la raccolta e la distribuzione di prodotti alimentari e igienici nel quotidiano. Tale progetto è nato nel settembre 2020 con la volontà di pianificare gli aiuti umanitari necessari a fronteggiare l’emergenza sanitaria, socio-politica e climatica che tuttora interessa la Grecia e che porta a un costante e progressivo aggravamento della situazione con migliaia di persone che non hanno accesso a beni di prima necessità.

I prodotti raccolti con il SolitariTIR sono distribuiti principalmente agli ospiti del campo per rifugiati di Corinto, e ad Atene, dove la fitta rete di collaborazione con altre realtà organizzative permette il sostentamento di molte persone.

Sin dall’inizio, l’intervento non si è limitato alla sola distribuzione, ma è stato ideato un progetto che permette alla persona e alle famiglie, tramite un sistema a punti creato ad hoc, di poter scegliere cosa prendere, a seconda delle proprie esigenze, priorità e gusti.

In collaborazione con le ONG partner vengono organizzate raccolte di beni di prima necessità più volte durante l'anno. Si raccolgono materiali in Ticino e in tutta Italia, organizzando diversi punti di raccolta della merce su tutto il territorio.

Le scorte di beni umanitari in loco rappresentano una risorsa essenziale per poter garantire un supporto concreto e quotidiano alle persone in movimento.

The project is launched several times during the year.

This project was carried out for the first time in October 2020 and it is the result of the desire to plan ahead the aid needed for the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Greece As winter approaches, and the climatic conditions worsen, the scenario is causing people to worry the unstable socio-political situation, and a pandemic that is not getting any better(also because of the intensive care facilities on the brink of collapsing) only makes everything worse
For these reasons, the stocks of humanitarian goods on site represent an essential resource for the support that Aletheia want to bring.

In collaboration with Vasilika Moon and OBTI, a collection of basic necessities is therefore organized in Ticino and throughout Italy, organizing various collection points for goods throughout the territory.

Once the quantity needed to fill a 32-pallet truck has been reached, the truck leaves for Greece by sea to reach Corinth.

In Greece, the donated goods are sorted in the warehouse of the partner organizations and then, through management software, distributed in the free shop of the Community Center or in emergency situations donated to support people forced to live on the street.
